The Olimpíada Todo Dia mascot was born from a simple yet highly symbolic idea: the ant as a representation of constant work, discipline and daily presence. Just as OTD covers Brazilian Olympic sports 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, the ant carries this image of tireless dedication — always moving, building and searching for something new.
The concept also connects with the expression “working like an ant,” a perfect way to represent OTD’s journalistic routine: following sports disciplines, athletes, competitions, behind-the-scenes stories and results that often stay far from the spotlight. From this idea, the character was developed in different poses, expressions and sports modalities, creating a versatile, friendly and energetic visual identity to represent the spirit of Brazilian Olympic sports.
